Ellen Stein, MD, M.D.

Assistant Professor of Medicine 

ELLEN STEIN joined Johns Hopkins from the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where she completed her fellowship in Gastroenterolgy. A specialist in motility testing, ambulatory reflux monitoring, colon cancer screening, and endoscopy, Dr. Stein's clinical and research interests are in motility disorders and esophageal diseases such as reflux disease, achalasia, Barrett's esophagus and eosinophilic esophagitis.  She has published numerous chapters and articles and is board-certified in both Internal Medicine as well as Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
